Iron Mountain, Mich. - CCI Systems announces the appointment of engineer James Kovaly, formerly of Cisco to the position of Senior Account Manager, representing CCI in the Southwest.

Since 2006, Kovaly has focused on helping tiers 2 and 3 Telco and Cable companies develop network solutions to fit their needs, with emphasis on IPTV Systems technology, sales, and deployments.

“My extensive background in various network design and sales roles has prepared me well for my new position as Senior Account Manager at CCI Systems,” Kovaly noted.  “I enjoy working with customers and look forward to leveraging my 15 years of experience at Cisco to the design and implementation of Broadband IP Network Solutions for service providers across the Southwest.”

Kovaly brings more than 25 years of engineering experience to his new position including former positions as systems engineer, systems engineering manager, technical sales development and operations manager. He started at Cisco in 1996 and later went on to achieve the prestigious Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification, the highest level of technical networking certification offered by Cisco.

Kovaly holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA and received his CCIE certification in 1999.  He currently resides in Denver, Colorado.
