NCTC

The National Cable Television Cooperative, Inc. (NCTC) is a Kansas not-for-profit corporation that operates as a programming and hardware purchasing organization for its member companies who own and operate cable systems throughout the United States and its territories. NCTC is located in Lenexa, Kansas.

SCTE

The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) is a non-profit professional association that provides technical leadership for the telecommunications industry and serves its members through professional development, standards, certification and information. SCTE currently has more than 14,000 members from the U.S. and 70 countries worldwide and offers a variety of programs and services for the industry’s educational benefit. SCTE has 68 chapters and meeting groups and more than 3,000 employees of the cable telecommunications industry hold SCTE technical certifications. SCTE is an ANSI-accredited standards development organization. 

NCTA

NCTA is the principal trade association for the U.S. cable industry, representing cable operators serving more than 90 percent of the nation's cable television households and more than 200 cable program networks. The cable industry is the nation’s largest broadband provider of high-speed Internet access after investing more than $145 billion to build a two-way interactive network with fiber optic technology. Cable companies also provide state-of-the-art digital telephone service to millions of American consumers.

OPASTCO

OPASTCO is an industry leader in rural telecom policy, technical issues, member-run committees, education, knowledge-sharing, and networking. Members enjoy unparalleled access to OPASTCO staff that have the regulatory, legislative and technical expertise necessary to navigate today’s telecom world.

CTAM

CTAM works to grow cable telecommunications as they provide marketing resources, connecting opportunities for industry professionals as well as various articles, original research, conference presentations, case studies and industry news, developments and analysis.

Alabama-Mississippi Telecommunications Association (AMTA)

AMTA acts as a connecting point and resource center for companies in the telecom industry in Alabama and Mississippi on legislative and industry topics.  

Illinois Telecommunication Association (ITA)

ITA works to create a forum for its members to identify and to examine issues of importance, to foster collaboration among its members and to present on behalf of the telecommunications industry a unified position on matters of importance before the regulatory and legislative bodies of Illinois.  

Indiana Telecommunications Association (ITA)

The ITA is a non-profit trade association representing Indiana’s telecommunications industry. The Association strives to maintain high standards of operation, promote good customer and public relations with telephone consumers, promote the industry itself, preserve information valuable to the members, and coordinate legal and technical efforts of the members.  

Kentucky Telephone Association (KTA)

KTA promotes the development and growth of the telecommunications industry within Kentucky and the U.S. It enhances, protects and defends the mutual interests of member companies. KTA also conducts and sponsors meetings and seminars that promote the educational and technical expertise of its members. The association also encourages uniform operations, standards and practices among its members. 

Minnesota Telecom Alliance (MTA)

The MTA serves as the Minnesota industry’s voice on regulatory and legislative issues that affect the operation of its member companies and the delivery of telecommunications services to consumers. Its goals are to educate and inform local, state and federal decision-makers about telecommunications issues as well as keep our membership informed of events that impact the industry. 

Montana Telecommunications Association (MTA)

MTA serves Montana’s telecom companies as it strives to foster the provision of modern telecommunications services, products to customers and to provide services that add value to its member business operations. The association also allows members to define and influence public policies that affect Montana’s telecommunications industry.  

North Carolina Telecommunications Industry Association (NCTIA)

The NCTIA is North Carolina’s premier trade organization representing telephone cooperatives, independently owned companies, national affiliates, municipal owned service providers and wireless companies throughout North Carolina as well as vendors and industry suppliers.  

North Dakota Telephone Association (NDTA)

The NDTA provides to its member information and assistance in matters of industry-wide importance, workshops, seminars and conferences as a means of establishing a forum for the expression of ideas, discussion of problems facing the North Dakota’s telecom companies and educational opportunities and a clearinghouse of the compilation, publication and distribution of information affecting or of interest to its member companies. 

National Telecommunication Cooperative Association (NTCA)

The association serves both rural telecommunications cooperatives and commercial companies through business and technology resources, advocacy, training and education and publications.  NCTA provides a unified voice for rural telecom consumers and their providers on Capitol Hill and at the FCC.   

New York State Telecommunications Association, Inc.

The New York State Telecommunications Association, Inc.'s (NYSTA's) membership includes the state's premier telecommunications service providers which serve virtually all individuals and businesses in the state. From larger national firms such as Verizon, AT&T and Sprint, to smaller providers across New York, NYSTA's 54 members provide service to over 90% of the state's customers. Founded in 1921 by 13 telephone companies as the "Upstate Telephone Association of New York," in 1935 the name was changed to the New York State Telephone Association, Inc. to reflect a broadened scope of interests. In 1997, responding to major changes in the industry, the Association changed its name to the New York State Telecommunications Association, Inc. Currently, in addition to the 54 telecommunications carriers, the Association includes 19 internet service providers and more than 170 associate members.

Ohio Telecom Association (OTA)

The OTA was the first established telecommunications association in the United States. The association represents the telecommunications industry, before the Ohio General Assembly and the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. The OTA plays an active role in the formulation of telecommunications policy and seeks to ensure that its members have the opportunity to provide the best telecommunications services possible. It collects and disseminates information relative to the industry and provides a forum for the discussion and resolution of issues of mutual concern.

By supporting the common interests of the telecommunications industry in Ohio, the OTA helps ensure that Ohio residential consumers, business and other customers have ready access to the most modern telecommunications services available. 

Oklahoma Telephone Association (OTA)

Oklahoma Telephone Association's mission is to promote the common interest of all Association members, to educate the general public about the telecommunications industry and its programs and to enhance the public’s knowledge and perception of the telecommunications industry and Association members. 

Oregon Cable Telecommunications Association

Oregon Cable Telecommunications Association is to promote the well-being of the cable telecommunications industry through effective political and public relations and educational activities.

Pennsylvania Telephone Association

The mission of the Pennsylvania Telephone Association is to advocate for its members and their customers and shareholders.

Rural Iowa Independent Telephone Association (RIITA)

RIITA strives to foster the success of Iowa's community-based communication service providers through regulatory/legislative advocacy, facilitating member access to knowledge and resources while promoting the critical value our members play in their communities.

South Carolina Cable Television Association (SCCTA)

SCCTA provides services specifically created to meet the diverse requirements of the various membership segments within the Association. SCCTA provides its members representation before the South Carolina General Assembly, state regulators and Congress, education, PR/ Media outreach and Industry/Market Research 

South Carolina Telephone Association

The South Carolina Telephone Association is a non-profit organization representing local telecommunications service providers in the state of South Carolina.

Telephone Association of New England (TANE)

The Telephone Association of New England is a resource for the educational needs of its members. The Association delivers value through collaboration and opportunities for networking and professional development.

Texas Telephone Association (TTA)

TTA promotes and enhances the performance of its members and protects the integrity of the local exchange telephone industry and the services offered within each company's certificated exchange areas within the State of Texas. 

Utah Rural Telecom Association (URTA)

URTA is a group of independent telephone companies that have joined together to promote common interests and share ideas and knowledge pertaining to the telecommunication industry.  

Virginia Cable Telecommunications Association (VCTA)

VCTA strives to promote the cable television and telecommunications services of member companies in the Commonwealth of Virginia to the public, the business community and state officials. The association is able to accomplish these tasks through coordinated public relations and awareness efforts, adequate training, organized member lobbying, timely and informational meetings and conventions and consolidated efforts with local, state and national cable advocacy groups. The VCTA operates by, for and with its members and is a storehouse and source of member information.

Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association

Since 1910, the Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association (WSTA) has served as a unified voice for its members in matters of interest to legislators, regulators, and the public. Interacting within its nationwide network of telecommunications experts, the Association serves as a clearinghouse for pertinent and accurate information for its members. Our Association represents more than 70 Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers, Internet Service Providers, and Wireless Carriers.
